It was very difficult for me to focus on this game today - as you will be able to tell by playing through the moves to this game! Charlie gave me some serious trouble in today's game which was a very large factor in some of my difficulties.

ULTRA TOUGH CHESS PUZZLES - For those looking for a challenge and some new tactical chess patterns!
I love chess - playing, teaching, thinking and writing about it! Based upon the number of chess books in my personal library we can add reading and collecting books on chess to this list as well!!
I am a chess coach and chess organizer - I have run one or more chess clubs at a time since 1993 and that is on both coasts of the USA. Right now (1/26/2010) my USCF standard rating is 1997 - 3 points away from "EXPERT" status!!!!!! 2010 is the year I break the 2000 barrier.
I hope you enjoy the St. John Bosco Chess Blog - all of our Bulldogs pack one mean bite when they show their teeth at the chess board! The title of the blog is based upon a little "bit" of a play on words - a byte is a unit of digital information in computing and telecommunications. And since this is a chess blog... and since bulldogs can bite... that is how I came up with the title for our blog!
- Coach Sean Tobin.
